Anorexia
You may be struggling with
anorexic traits if your friends and family tell you that you are too thin, yet
you feel very overweight. Perhaps you are restricting your food intake
excessively and are obsessing about food and body image too much of the time.
You may have lost a large percentage of your body weight.
This would be an appropriate time to see a psychotherapist and work on
self-awareness, identifying your strengths, your ideas, feelings and values. As
you begin working on yourself, try to stay away from thinking and talking about
food.
By identifying your emotional issues, you can begin to take small steps to
overcoming those issues and this alone will help you to begin to feel more in
control of your life.
