Jill C. Eilenberger is a
personal life coach and psychotherapist in private practice in Charlotte,
North Carolina. Jill specializes in the treatment of eating disorders
and in providing therapy for couples. Jill is a member of the International
Association of Eating Disorders Professionals.
Jill completed her Bachelors
of Science degree from the State University of New York at Binghamton in
1984 where she majored in Business and Human Services. Jill received her
Masters degree in Clinical Social Work in 1986 from the University of North
Carolina at Chapel Hill where she specialized in services to individuals and
families.
Jill's training in the field of eating disorders began in 1983 when she
completed an independent study in the treatment of bulimia and compulsive
eating. At that time, Jill developed the "What's Eating You?" program, a
treatment program for women recovering from bulimia and compulsive eating.
Jill began leading the "What's Eating You?" program in 1990.
Her warm and upbeat approach
enables participants to let go of old unwanted behaviors and take on new,
more helpful self-protective ones. Jill continues to hear frequently from
former program participants with stories of their ongoing success.
Jill is an active member of the Charlotte community, having served on
numerous boards. She has been a popular speaker at meetings and seminars on
frequent occasions. Jill is a former President of the Charlotte Chapter of
The American Association of Marital and Family Therapists and has been
listed in the "Who's Who of American Women."
